This is a very beautiful vase, very heavy and substantial, not cheap looking or feeling. Makes a wonderful gift whether engraved or not.

I'll start out with the only negative. I wish it was slightly taller. Other than that, it's great. It's heavy and sturdy, the writing is legible and clear, and it shines beautifully in the sun. My wife loves it, and it was a perfect 15 year anniversary gift.

My bestie loves flowers and gets them fresh weekly so this amazing vase is functional, beautiful and sentimental. I'm sure its beautiful for weddings but it also makes for an amazing memorialized tribute I personalized with "In Loving Memory" her Moms name and then her birth and death date.
