Acrylic but looks like glass, there is no worry about breaking it so that it can be easily handled without fear. I ordered "Heaven in our home" and found it to be perfect to be used anywhere in the house. Verse is heartwarming but subtle so that it is NOT a "glaring" reminder of sadness, but just a gentle hug.

Unfortunately I had to purchase 2 of these in the last month. I purchased these in lui of flowers. Each recipient was thrilled with their memorial heart. The flowers are all gone, but this is something they will treasure forever and always feel that their loved one is always with them.
