Engraved Letters to Santa Mailbox Ornament Customer Reviews

I hopped in the retail stores so I could "see" what I was buying. But since ThingsRemembered only exists online now, I was hesitant. I buy an ornament every year for a loved one. The Santa Stops Here mailbox was new. The reviews seemed good, so I went for it. I'm extremely pleased with this ornament. It's heavy, bigger than anticipated, and the inside "letter" is a great touch. I was worried about the door staying closed and losing the letter. But it has a magnet (not mentioned in the item description) that keeps the door closed. My only complaint is the letter simply hangs from a small hook on the inside of the box. It's not actually attached. My giftee is older, so I wasn't worried about losing the letter. But if you have a little one who wants to play with the ornament, it might be a challenge. My ornament was "lost" in shipping along the way, but Things Remembered immediately found the error, sent a new one, and it arrived in time for Christmas. Very pleased overall!

I by metal ornaments each year for my grandchildren from Things Remembered and Personalization Mall. The oldest grandchild has 20 ornaments and told me the other day how much she loves them more as an adult.
The mailbox is so cute. I put their last name on the other side of the ornament and it is worth adding the extra engraving on the envelope.
I also give them on Saint Nick so they can enjoy them the same year.

I have a tradition of buying each child, oldest is 6, a keepsake ornament they will have all their lives. As long as I live the will be purchased from Things Remembered.

Loved the ornament, especially since you are able to have the letter engraved.
I miss the Make A Wish ornaments but this was a nice replacement to them.
