Lovely piece with quality craftsmanship. Engraving was perfect.

The compact is very pretty. The engraving was as I had requested and so nice to be able to personalize it. However, the lettering is very small and because the etching has no color it is quite light and barely able to see against the silver compact. Perhaps if I had chosen the rose colored compact the etching might be more visible so am a little disappointed about that, but still very pretty and I know my daughter-in-law will love the special message on the back. Also, I expected the compact to come in a pretty little gift box, but it came in a plastic bag so I had to purchase a box for it. I have ordered from Things Remembered in the past and always pleased with their work. I will order again!

Our silver anniversary was coming up, and on an evening out, her compact broke. I looked right there while she was not looking and was able to purchase and put my own written personalization to it.
