I did not expect radio quality, but the music is activated by winding the train. The music plays faster then it should when it first starts and sounds terrible. By the time the train slows to make the music play in time it ends. If I had known this I would not have purchased this item and would not recommend this to anyone that wants this for more then a shakeable snow globe. Do not run the train.
