I was not prepared for the size of this thing! It was a gift for best friend that collects snow globes. The little train circles and plays music. The whole family loved it!

This gift was purchased for my sister & my brother in law in honor of their 50th wedding anniversary. It was the first globe they have ever gotten and were thrilled.

It’s really rewarding to get a phone call from someone who excitedly expresses their appreciation for a special gift! They were impressed by the details, especially the little train, and liked the personalization. They could relate to “things remembered.”

I bought this for my sister last year for Christmas and just loved it. When I found it again this year I bought one for myself, it is so beautiful.

The quality really only takes a dive at the lite inscription and music box tempo in my opinion. The sound is what you'd expect from any low quality musical movement. Also it needs picked up and agitated to make it "snow", but its large and that means on the heavier side. Not for kids!
Yet don't dispare! This piece is quite gorgeous in all other aspects. You really have to see it in person to appreciate. I took a wonderful photo that accentuates it's beauty.

This globes is beautiful. The only downside side is that is is very LARGE and HEAVY! So heavy that you will need two hands, and hold over a soft surface to shake it. It’s a stem net piece not a traditional globe.

The globe is very nice. The quality seems very good, but the music is not good at all. I did not expect radio quality, but the music is activated by winding the train. The music plays faster then it should when it first starts and sounds terrible. By the time the train slows to make the music play in time it ends. If I had known this I would not have purchased this item and would not recommend this to anyone that wants this for more then a shakeable snow globe. Do not run the train.

Very disappointed, the globe has imperfections in the glass, plus scratches on the glass. Hard to believe this would get through their final inspection.
