Did not meet expectations.
I really like the size of this item. This is a great gift for those family members who "have everything".
ALTHOUGH.... The tree has a bit of a rose/gold-ish tint. If you look at it from far away, it looks silver. After opening the package, it was the very first thing I noticed.
For the price, I feel it could be more "heavy-duty". It is a little bit flimsy. As the purchaser, of course I am inspecting it from top to bottom. If I was shopping in the store, I would not have purchased this. I know my inlaws will love it though due to the picture frames and the pictures I will put in it.
Again, great gift if you have no idea what to get a loved one. My expectations were a bit higher though.
On a side note, the shipping was SUPER quick. Very impressed.

It's so unique
I am very close with my aunt and she is very focused on family. Her family is expanding with her oldest daughter's marriage and babies and the other 4 children will be there sooner than we realize.
We were out shopping and I noticed that she really had her eye on this tree so I came back and bought it for her the next day.
When I walked into her house with it she couldn't believe that I had picked it up for her and got SUPER excited about it. She said it was the best gift she'd ever gotten...with the exception of a light up cow

The talk of any table...
I brought this as a last min gift for my Nana about 3 christmas ago. I remember rushing threw photos of all 43 members of our family trying to figure out who to frame and who not too. I was unsure if she would like it do to the size but knew how much she loves her family and photos of them. When she called me after opening it, she was in tears. She said it was the most perfect gift and she just loved all the little photos in it. After all these years she still get compliments over it from her friends and thanks me for it everytime I can visit her. My nana's only complant about it is that we cant buy move photo frame hearts to add to the tree our selves. We still need to add 11 more photos to the Brown Family Tree :)

Perfect Gift
I bought this gift for my mother in law 2 Christmases ago. She absolutely loved it! She loves taking pictures, and I took a chance with this to hopefully give her something that she really liked. She has always given us wonderful presents, and even though every year she seemed very gracious of the presents we gave her, I don't think we have ever quite hit the mark for her (my Husband ussually buys for her, enough said lol.) That year, I found this and when she opened it, she couldn't take her eyes off of it! The next day, I saw that she had made an entire album of pics of this on her facebook page. Even today she still has it on display and I would recommend this for anyone, as a gift or as a personal buy.

Silver turns to gold.
I've had this tree for a short time, and the silver plating wore off, revealing a gold layer underneath. Not to happy about that, but loved the idea of the tree itself.
