great product in store
I bought this in the local store and was amazed, not only by the manager's knowledge of the products, but of the outcome of the gift! I was pleasantly surprised by the engraving especially since there is no way for them to do roman numerals and they said that the IV I wanted would look funny. However, it did not and it looked great!!!

engraving trouble
Although this product is really pretty and sturdy, I am annoyed at the website for messing up my engraving. When filling it out, it said my message would be 2 lines, so I put in capital letters accordingly. When It came in the mail, it was engraved as 3 lines, so I have a random capital letter in the middle of my second line, and the first letter of line 2 and 3 are not capitalized. I wish I would have known this so I could have just gone all lower case and It would look better. For how much I paid for the engraving, this website should at least get the length correct on how many letters can be in each line. The issue is on the base...the pen engraving is perfect. I would get this again (without upper case letters since it seems you don't know where they will end up), I just wanted to warn other people that it may not come exactly as you enter it in the "personalization" tab. I guess I should have ordered this in the store, but the other products I ordered with it were online only.
