Birthday gift for God Daughter I happened to be passing Things Remembered in my local mall and the sight of the water globes in the front display drew me in. I remembered that my husband's god daughter's birthday was coming up and I knew I had to send her one. The hard part was choosing which one to send. I finally decided on the fairy snow globe. It was very detailed and the song on the music box was very pretty. What young girl would not like a pretty personalized snowglobe? I was also happy it was on sale. I do not know how the engraving turned out since I had it shipped out of state. We could tell by the thrill of our god-daughter's voice on the phone that she really appreciated the gift. We usually send cash, so I think she was truly surprised. I intend to order another snowglobe for a co-worker that is retiring. I do have some engraving tips. If the gift is very important (wedding, office award) then spend the extra money for the premium engraving. It shows up much bolder. If not, try block or roman font. Also the less words the better. Beautiful! This was a birthday gift to a best friend who collects fairies. I saw it on-line and was sure she would love it. And she did!! Just Perfect! All my five year old daughter told us she wanted for Christmas was "a snow globe that sings!". The problem is that it was the week before Christmas and we had already bought all her gifts and didn't want to spend that much more money on her. But since that is ALL she wanted for Christmas we couldn't let her down! So we went to the mall and past Things Remembered. I saw the snow globes as we were walking by and thought "those look way too expensive". But I had to look anyway because they were all so gorgeous. To my husband and my surprise the prices were amazing! I cannot believe that it was only $30! For the quality you get way more than you pay for! My daughter was sooo surprised and will definitely cherish it forever! And now we have a new Christmas tradition! It was the same price as the cheap plastic ones you buy from Walmart! My only complaint was that the engraving seemed outrageous! We wanted to put a sweet little saying on it but that would have cost us more than the globe. So we just wrote her name and the year. All and all we were absolutely amazed and delighted and so was our daughter! Cannot wait for next Christmas to buy her another one! December 29, 2011

this is worth every penny a truly beautiful and special gift for someone you love if i have one minor complaint it would be only that the engraving is a little faint perhaps choose a stronger font, but i am delighted with my purchase. December 22, 2011

A beautiful birthday gift I gave this to my niece last year for her birthday. She loves fairies & princesses and I thought this would be an appropriate gift to add to her collection even though she is still little. The look on her face was priceless when she opened it and it put another small plastic one she received just moments before to shame. I felt so bad but then a little better, knowing that I took the care to pick out a special gift for a special little girl.
