A gift to pass on
I got this family tree for a friend of mine who had just lost her Aunt. This Aunt was the last sibling on her father's side of the family. Her passing was especially difficult, knowing it was the end of a generation for her family. I couldn't just send flowers. I thought of the Heritage Tree as a way for her and her family to heal through keeping memories alive. It's not a generation lost but a generation to be remembered. She absolutely loved the gift and has started to collect the pictures and she already knows which of the younger cousins to pass the tree on to. My friend said that it was the most thoughtful gift she's ever received.

60th bday
Gave this to my mom for her 60th and she loved it. We have large family 5 siblings and 11 grand children. This was perfect because pictures can also be inserted on the back side of the tree. The item details don't inform you of such. Amazing gift

Beautiful product
My husband and I welcomed our first child in the spring, and we were stuck on what to get my mother-in-law for Christmas. While out shopping one day, we stopped in our local Things Remembered and this immediately jumped out to us. It was the perfect gift to give her in light of the birth of our son. She was absolutely THRILLED when she opened it and is looking for the "perfect" pictures to put in it. It is such a unique way to display your family tree, and I was so happy with how beautiful it was that I am hinting for one of my own!

Surprise. We're having a baby!
My husband and I gifted this tree to our parents as a Christmas present last year. We used photos of bottles, cribs, pacifiers, and babies from various magazines. Loosely wrapped it with duckie ribbon. It made the perfect surprise gift and provides us with future gift ideas. Photo's of their beautiful grandson!
Yes, the tiny pins that hold the frames together, are a drawback. We almost lost one. We wouldn't have changed it though. Provides us with a funny memory whenever we see the tree on display.

Not an easy project to put together.
This is a great gift if you are crafty and flexible enough to make it work when things don't go smoothly, but it could have been thought out a lot better to help those of us who aren't born craftsmen. Instead of opening like a locket, each frame has a pair of tiny pins that you need pliers to pull out in order to open the frame to put in a picture. It would have been great if the gift had come with a few spare pins, as they are ridiculously small and easy to lose. Losing just one puts an end to your entire project. Putting the pins back in to then lock the frame once the photos are inside is twice as challenging. This is something that will look great in any room, but it might be worth hiring someone to put it together for you.

Family Tree
This was a perfect wedding gift. Had the top leaf engraved with their names and the wedding date. They loved it. Very appropriate gift.

unique gift
I gave this to my parents for a 50th wedding anniversary gift. I'm sure my parents could tell I spent some time putting it together.
It wasn't hard to find the pictures I needed. There are drug stores that have photo machines where you can make wallet size photos of anything. I filled the tree with photos of my and my sisters family. I'm sure it is something my parents apprecitated.
