Pocket Watch with Black Dial
I gave this as a gift to my husband and he absolutely loved it. It is sort of light weight but over all its a great gift.

Pretty, but don't expect quality
Just what the title says. The watch body is made of brushed silver, minimizing scratches and ensuring the piece stays pretty. That's about the extent of the food qualities of this watch.
The timepiece is terrible. The watch face is made of plastic, looks cheap and feels cheap. It doesn't help that the watch literally can't keep time for an hour.; I corrected the time on three occasions on the first day, then just gave up. Consider that this item should be used exclusively for display, then.
The watch chain is of a decent quality, it looks like it will hold as long as you're not tugging on it too hard. The clasp is a completely different matter. Where the watch chain should clip into a vest pocket, button, belt loop, etc, is not up to par with the rest of the chain. It will bend out of place and render itself unworkable with not much effort.
The fact that the paperwork that comes with the watch suggests you not snap the top closed after opening it to view the case suggests that the lid catch is cheap, and will break after too much use. This is not a sign of a quality in the slightest.
Don't buy this watch unless you're looking to please a vapid airhead of a significant other who wouldn't rather appreciate a decent watch that WORKED AS A WATCH. If that person is only looking for something shiny with their name on it, I'm sure there are other items better suited than this.

My Dad loves his pocketwatch. I loved being able to personalize it.
