Very Good Device
This device has everything you would need in an emergency.
Yes, it has a hand-cranked flashlight, (so you don?t have to discover after the lights go out that the batteries are dead), but it also has a few features I wouldn?t have thought of.
It has an FM radio, so you can listen to weather broadcasts; it has an alarm, which would come in handy if you were injured and can?t talk; and it even allows you to plug in your cell phone (cable included) to charge your phone when the power is out.
That last feature is a real plus, because if there?s one thing worse than being stuck without power, it?s being stuck without power and not being able to make a call.

The engraved part falls off!!!
My older brother was the officiant of our wedding ceremony. I wanted to give him a thoughtful gift. He's really into nature and survival. When we saw this flashlight I was so excited! I knew he would love it, and he did. However, we had the flashlight engraved and it came on this little piece that was stuck on with adhesive. That would be fine if it was good adhesive, but it was DEFINITELY not. It fell off the day I gave it to my brother. I'm sure he can super glue it on or something, but it's really lousy to give someone a gift that kind of falls apart. Especially since personalizing it costs extra, and that's the worst feature of this flashlight!! If you don't plan to have it personalized then go for it. Otherwise you'd better glue it on REALLY well before giving it as a gift, if you decide to make the purchase at all.

Great Gift!
I bought these for the 'dads' in our lives for Wedding gifts. Everyone loved it and liked determining what the options were. My dad loved it so much he asked where I got it because he knew people who wanted one.

Excellent tool for emergancies!
I bought several of these for gifts then had to go back and buy one for myself. Perfect tool to have for emergancy. The crank works good and no need for batterys. Has a radio and also a phone charger. Perfect for when the power goes out.

Great features for emergency use.
Great gifts for family and friend. I like all the features for emergency use. First disadvantage you have to continue turning the handle for 3 minutes for the phone to reach 8-10 minutes charging. You cannot attach connect to phone and leave it alone. Second disadvantage when turning the handle the sound is loud. Therefore, you cannot use it in public place, without distraction. User-friendly, any age groups can operated. Recommend phone works the same as the other features.

Awesome Gift
I got these for my son, nephew and dad ....when i showed my mom what i had gotten dad she sent me to get my husband on they were the hit of the evening everyone loved them now i'm wondering what i will get next year to top these....thanks for the great gift at a reasonable price ...their ages range from 18 to 67 so you can see this is a great gift for anyone....
