Beautiful but not 100% practical
I bought this ornament back in 2007 for my oldest son. I was VERY excited to see the same ornament available for my youngest' first Christmas in 2012. I like that both of them have beauiful ornaments that are the same. The ornament itself is BEAUTIFUL. It's a wonderful keepsake that will definitely last to be passed down when they have their own family and Christmas tree.
The only downside to this ornament is its weight. We have an artificial tree and I have to search to find the right branch to put it on because it needs to be able to "sit" on the branches below it due to the weight. Even then if it moves to the side a bit, it pulls down the branch that it's hanging on to almost a 90 degree angle #we have a quality tree#. I can't say that it's a HUGE pain because, really, it's only done once a year... but it would be nice if the ornament had a more "normal" weight.

Love the fact that I am able to get the same ornament with each grandchild.
This year, 2012, we purchased four more of the block ornaments for our four new grandsons. It is our first Christmas gift to our new grand babies. We put one of their first pictures in them as well as have their name and date of birth engraved. So far we have purchased 16 of these ornaments, and there will be two more for this year (at least that is all we know of)! 2013. Just a side note, two of these ornaments survived a house fire in 2010. Thank you Things Remembered for a great first gift to our grandchildren.

Well Pleased
We purchased the "Baby's First Christmas" ornament for our first grandson. We were very impressed with the quality of the product and the packaging. We clipped one of our favorite photos of the baby and placed it in the block. What great memories!

Beautiful Ornament
I have purchased one of these ornaments for each of my kids for their first Christmas: we just ordered our 3rd. The ornament is beautiful, and I like the fact that you can put a picture in it so in 20 years my kids can see what they looked like at their first Christmas.

Beautiful
I purchased 3 of these as gifts to each of my newborn baby girl's grandmothers and one for us. The ornament is substantial in weight and just beautiful. My mother and in-law will love this!

Love it!
We bought this for our son's 1st Christmas in 2010. Now when he sees it on the tree he talks about the baby in the picutre and how "pretty" it is. We are getting it for our 11 month old...about a year late...but whats better than matching 1st Christmas ornaments?
