How to Order

Placing an order at thingsremembered.com is fast, safe and easy.

Shopping on Our Site


Our site makes it easy to find just what you're looking for while always offering help and creative suggestions. The primary initial selections will always be found at the top of every page. Here you can shop by occasions (birthday, Christmas, and many others), gift categories (women?s jewelry, men?s jewelry & accessories, and many others), or recipient (him, her, and many others). We also have fully stocked wedding and business sites that are accessible via this top navigation. Once you have made an initial selection on the home page, there will be a left navigation added that will allow you to get to the products you want very quickly. You'll also find helpful links to popular gifts and featured items throughout the site, along with helpful related content.

Use our Search box in the upper right corner to find items by Keyword, Item Number, Recipient, Occasion, Product Type, or any combination of criteria.

Once you find an item you'd like to purchase, enter the quantity you want, and click "Personalize & Add to Bag". You are now ready to personalize the item(s).


Personalizing Your Gifts


Once you've selected the quantity of item, it's time to personalize it.


Select an Occasion Use the pulldown menu to choose from a selection of occasions. The site uses this data to assist with the remaining steps in your purchase, such as to recommend messages to put on the selected product.
Select a Personal Message Use the pulldown menu to choose from a selection of recommended phrases or select "Create Your Own" to create your own message. If the phrase you select allows you to insert a name, date or other information as part of the message, simply type that information into the entry box. When creating your own message, the entry box will only allow you to enter the pre-determined amount of characters that will fit on that item.
Select A Font Use the pulldown menu to choose the font style for your message.
Select A Message Color If your item is embroidered, use the pulldown menu to select the thread color that your item will be embroidered with.
Preview Allows you to preview how your message will appear in the font you have chosen on the item. You can change your message, font and color (if applicable) at any time and click "Preview Message on Product" to see how your changes look.
Add to Bag Once satisfied, click this button and your item, with its personalization, will be added to your Shopping Cart.

If purchasing more than one of the same item, you can personalize all of them with the same message or give each one a different message. If you personalize them all the same, you'll go through the above process once, and if you personalize them differently, you will go through the process for each individual item.

Shopping Bag


Each time you select an item and personalize it, it is added to your Shopping Bag, where you can keep track of the items you've selected, your personalization and can make changes.


Edit item (on the far left) Allows you to edit all parts of your custom product.
Update To change the quantity of an item in your Shopping Bag, type in the desired quantity and at the bottom of the screen, click on "Update".
Remove an Item To remove an item or quantity of items quickly, click inside the box in the Remove column for that item and click "Update".
Continue Shopping Allows you to rsume shopping after you've added items to your Shopping Bag.
Check Out Allows you to proceed to the Checkout process once you're finished shopping.
Personalization - Preview Allows you to preview your message on the product.
Personalization - Edit Allows you to edit the message and formatting

Checkout


When you are finished shopping and have clicked "Checkout" on the Shopping Cart page, you will begin the easy Checkout process.

If you have an online account and are not logged in yet, you can do so by clicking on "My Account" at the top of the screen or at the beginning of the Billing Address page. If you have an existing account and have used the Bill Me Later? payment option in the past, to expedite the checkout process, please select the billing address that you used previously.

If you do not have an online account, setting one up is easy and fast. With an account, you will: Have faster checkout on future orders; Receive exclusive email newsletters and promotions; Have access to your order history and shipment tracking; No need to re-enter your information when using the Bill Me Later? payment option in future orders.

If you have never used the Bill Me Later? payment option at Things Remembered, you will be asked for the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number and your Date of Birth. After agreeing to the Terms & Conditions, click the I Agree and Complete Order button. After a fast review, your order will be completed.

Your order is now complete! You will receive an order confirmation email soon after you submit your order, and when your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email, complete with the tracking information for your shipment.

Add Gift Wrap You can add one of our beautiful gift wrap with a gift card for only $4.95. To add click on link and complete required information.
Next Allows you to proceed to the next step once finished with this page.


Order Summary Page

Payment Information "You may choose 1 of 3 convenient payment options.

1. To pay by Credit Card, select this payment option, and enter your credit card information. To learn about how we keep your credit card information secure, click here.

2. To pay using the convenient Bill Me Later? option, select this payment option, and click the Order Now button. If you have not used Bill Me Later? on our site before, you will be taken to a page that will request information so Bill Me Later? can run a quick credit check. Learn more about Bill Me Later?.

3. To pay using PayPal?, select this payment option, and click the Order Now button. You will be taken to PayPal's website to finalize your payment. Learn more about PayPal?.

Place Order Allows you to proceed to the next step once finished with this page.
